I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and have focused my career on helping those suffering from trauma, anxiety, addiction, and depression. If you have witnessed or experienced physical or emotional trauma, I can help you improve your life. I am a Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy practitioner, which is an evidence-based therapy that is currently being used by our US military to treat trauma. I specialize in working with those with anxiety, low self-esteem, addictions, and depression. I work to meet my clients where they are at and focus on the issues important to them using honesty and compassion.
As a certified clinical trauma professional I have extensive training in the treatment of trauma including the most experience and training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy in the Commonwealth. I specialize in helping people challenge negative thinking and develop new perspectives using methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
Working through emotional pain, depression, and anxiety can be difficult and scary. It is important to choose a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and who you feel is competent. Let me help you take those first steps towards building the life you deserve. If you are suffering, please know that there is help available and that change is possible!

I have been lucky to work in community settings with diverse populations for 13 years. Kentuckians are amazingly resilient people. There are many who struggle with burn-out, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues and substance use. It is my experience that along with our choices and genetics our political, geographical and social environments impact our overall wellbeing. Many Kentuckians, families and couples are feeling overwhelmed in some area of life. I am an ally. We can prioritize your goals, create action steps, reduce troublesome symptoms. Regain confidence in navigating your life and telling your story.
Utilizing mindfulness over 13 years has lead to my successes and increased wellbeing! If you are willing, I am able to treat trauma in a safe manner through Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I am thrilled to offer Gottman Level 1 and 2 Couples therapy. I am inspired by all paths to recovery. Managing, stopping use, utilizing medication and therapy may be goals.
It’s your story to tell! I look forward to working with you and your loved ones. Reaching out is powerful. You can make changes in your life faster than you thought was possible. It’s important that you feel like I hear what you are saying and we are making progress that is realistic and acceptable to you. How can I help today?
